Sunset June 13, 2012

The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion,

like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.

Psalm 19: 1-6

The Calm After The Storm [literally: Tropical Storm Debby]

What a gift it was to see, watch and photograph tonight's magnificent sunset. If one had not been here to experience or read/seen on the news about Tropical Storm Debby - who wreaked havoc by dumping so much rain, blowing so much wind, dropping tornadoes and creating floods right here in our very own city, this sighting might not have the same significance. But for me, like with every other sunset and sunrise that I watch, praise welled up in my soul for my Magnificent Creator God, Master Designer!

[Some of these scenes are 'au naturel' and others have been edited for more variety.
They also show different stages of the setting sun]

Notice the float plane just above the water & directly in the forefront of the setting sun. Serendipity!
